We’re thrilled to welcome James ‘Chappo’ Chapman a We’re thrilled to welcome James ‘Chappo’ Chapman as our Ambassador for the 2026 Hunter Disability Expo.

A passionate surfer, content creator, and proud Newcastle local, James lives by his motto “Difference is dope”, which he brings to everyday life. He was born with pseudoachondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, and has spent his life challenging expectations. Whether he’s charging waves along the Newcastle coast, connecting with his online community, or representing Australia in sport, James is bold, authentic, and a powerful advocate for celebrating difference.
